Through lecture, demonstration, role-play, and questions/answers, Dr. Diggs, with the assistance of our staff, demystify the complex behaviors associated with personality disorders and teach specific treatment techniques.
Training can be arranged for small or large groups at your site or organization and customized to meet your specific interests. Dr. Diggs can also work with therapists in live sessions.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, we can work with you individually to utilize the skills and knowledge that you already have to deepen your understanding of personality disorders and how to provide effective treatment. We provide consultation and guidance for individual cases or help you find new and creative solutions to your therapeutic approach. Individual or group consultation on your open cases with Dr. Diggs can quickly move treatment forward.
Coming Fall 2018:
We are very excited to announce that we are launching the pilot of our Therapist Development Program. This program will be comprised of two major components. The first is theoretical in which we will be conducting an in-depth training on the development and latest theories around personality disorder as well as the Nysa Method for treating these unique presentations. The second component will be a hands-on experience applying the theories and principles of the first component. This will be accomplished through case consultation, role-play and feedback from Dr. Diggs and your colleagues.
Needless to say, we are thrilled to be rolling out this program and have had quite a bit of interest in this initial group. So much so that this initial pilot group is currently closed to new participants. However, please keep your eyes opened for new groups starting in 2019. We are always happy to hear from you and love the overwhelming response we've been seeing at our various trainings and groups. Dr. Diggs and the staff at Nysa Therapy will be presenting the Nysa Therapy Model of object relations to explain the dynamic structure of personality disorder in general and Borderline Personality Disorder specifically. The Nysa Therapy method for treating Borderline Personality Disorder will be demonstrated through role play and audience participation. We look forward to your questions and comments.
