We’re excited to offer a new personality disorder training series!
At Nysa Therapy, we provide therapists and students studying to be mental health professionals with the skills and tools they need to effectively treat personality disorder. That’s why we are proud to announce the launch of our “Lunch & Learn” Webinar Series. This is a free training series provided by the Nysa team to help you explore various aspects of personality disorder treatment. During these one-hour lunchtime webinars, Nysa Therapy Founder and Director Dr. Stephen Diggs will use his 25 years of study and practice in the treatment of personality disorders to teach students and professionals about effective treatment for PD. It all kicks off on Monday, September 27 from 12PM to 1PM, with the first of the series: Understanding Borderline Rage. This training will provide attendees with a working understanding of why patients with borderline personality disorder commonly rage and how therapists can respond effectively.
After completing this training, attendees will be able to:
- Explain borderline rage as emotional regression to a right-brain infantile state
- Identify what’s being communicated and use interventions to effectively calm their raging borderline patient
