As part of our Lunch & Learn personality disorder training series for therapists, we’re taking on a topic that most therapists have faced: cutting and other self harm behaviors.
As part of our Therapist Development Program, Nysa Therapy has launched a free webinar series taking on topics that matter to the mental health field. Students, pre-licensed interns, and licensed professionals are welcome to join us for a lunchtime presentation on a range of topics, and licensed professionals can earn 1 CEU for spending their lunch hour learning alongside us.
During Our September Lunch & Learn: Understanding Borderline Rage, we were joined by nearly two dozen practitioners, and we were delighted by their engagement and feedback on this new training series.
In October, Dr. Stephen Diggs — Nysa Therapy Founder & Director — will present the Nysa approach to cutting and other self harm behaviors. We utilize a focus on relationship building and psychodrama to get to the heart of cutting behavior and ultimately heal the root cause of this behavior. The webinar will be hosted on Monday, October 18, from 12-1PM, and we welcome you to attend for free.
Dr. Diggs Explains the Nysa Approach to Cutting & Self-Harm
The October training will build on the concepts of this Nysa Minute, equipping therapists and students with skills and tools to intervene effectively using psychodrama and other techniques. Register to join us.
